Yes, your data is absolutely secure on our cloud servers from the eyes of malware attacks. We take data security very seriously thus the entire data control is in your hands.
Project Dashboard shows project manager and member names and includes project description, if any. It further provides a snapshot of project related variables including Tasks, its distribution among members, billable and non-billable time and activity done by members of a project against various tasks.
Both Project Managers and individual team members have the rights to add comments to the tasks. These comments can be viewed by other team members also. Admin can restrict a user’s right to add/view comments in a project.
Only the project manager has the permission to change the dates of a specific project.
No, you can add as many subtasks as you wish, each subtask may have different assignees.
Yes, you can set task and project priority as high, somewhat, low. By Default, the Priority is set as “not set” category
Yes, All users with specific rights can add time manually and export time sheets in PDF, CSV and Excel formats.
Project Roller has both web and desktop app versions. Users Need to use the Desktop App to record time and both the app versions can be used to mark tasks as complete or Uncomplete.
Yes, there are separate dashboards for PMs and individual team members having different permissions. Project managers can assign roles, add projects and people, access time reports etc. Individual team members have default access to projects and tasks they are allocated to but Project managers can add more rights to their memberships within a Project or Company as a whole.
No, there are no such categorical limits. You can add and manage as many users, tasks, projects or subtasks as you may wish.
At this time, we have made all features of the app available for free for Freelancers. For Teams – the app would be free to use for the first 2 months.
Our app includes lots of useful information which improves invoicing. You can find billable and non-billable time details for team members and for the entire project, which helps you create an invoice knowing exactly how much to bill. This is also useful for tracking employee productivity.
Once deleted, the files cannot be retrieved. Make sure you create a copy of the file on your local disk before deleting it from the app.
Team members will have the option to edit their own data files, but they will not be able to remove other files saved for a project.
Access to the reports is limited to people based on their rights within the app. While the admin and Super admin will have complete access to reports for all projects; the project managers will have access to Full reports for the projects that they are managing and the team members will have access to reports relating to their time reports and task activity.
